- An artist, illustrator and designer. I studied Graphic Design at Middlesex University and later Visual Communication at the University of Central England. “In the early part of my career as a graphic designer the art of developing symbols and logos developed my ability to condense a number of ideas into a simple visual language,” said Kathleen. Her graphic symbolic approach allows us the space to focus on a spontaneous quality of line, For Kathleen her painting is a form of meditation that leaves her vital and centred. Echoes of Japanese, Aboriginal, Arabic and Central American reflect the journeying of the artist, who lived and worked in Hong Kong for eleven years and travelled extensively. She now lives and works in north-west London.
